Can I use Numbing Cream?
Unfortunately, no.
Use of numbing cream IS not part of my process when it comes to getting a tattoo from me. Therefore, there are things that can inadvertently disturb the stenciling process which is crucial to the start of your design. Numbing creams CAN AFFECT THE PROCESS OF APPLYING YOUR TATTOO IN SEVERAL WAYS. INCLUDING UNWANTED SKIN INFLAMATION, REMOVING THE STENCIL I APPLY, unsaturated tones, AND MANY OTHER THINGS.
Long-term, it is in your best interest to have your skin be completely free of any numbing cream and or pain suppressing ointments on the day of your tattoo appointment.
how much will my tattoo cost?
cost has many variables that can determine the price. I price tattoos per design and do not tattoo at an hourly rate. I do this so it’s easier for you to be prepared financially before the appointment. if you have questions about pricing or have a design in mind along with a reference photo, you can always email it to me and get an estimate or stop in the shop any time for a consultation. (Tuesday-Saturday 12:00-6:00)
Can i bring friends with me?
absolutely! we have plenty of open space in our shop. That being said, I only allow a maximum of 2 friends/family members back in my booth. everyone else will either have to relax in our front lobby, or return when the session is finished.
What should i bring with me to my appointment?
bring headphones, snacks, Water, a phone charger or anything that will bring you comfort while you’re being tattooed. feel free to bring whatever will help you sit for an extended period of time.
Bottled water and a medical WATERPROOF pillow is provided upon request FOR YOUR COMFORT.
what should I wear?
Wear anything you’d like as long as it’s comfortable. Also keep in mind your clothes may get dirty during the session with ink, stencil applicator, ect. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
AS LONG As I have full access to the area we plan on tattooing, I will to everything I can to make sure you’re sitting comfortably for our session.
adhesive Pasties and a large room divider is also available upon request for your privacy if we are tattooing on/NEAR A PRIVATE AREA.
WHat should I do before my appointment?
I recommend to moisturize the area you plan on tattooing for a couple days with lotion or natural coconut oil. Having a moisturized area to work with is much easier to work with as dry/sunburned skin is not tattooable depending on the severity.
Right before your appointment, it’s completely optional, however you can clean shave the area where you plan on being tattooed.
make sure you arrive to your appointment wearing appropriate clothing. I need to be able to easily access the area we plan on tattooing.
for an example, spine/back tattoos, ladies can wear a flannel or zip-up jacket that can be turned around and worn backwards.
DO you tattoo minors?
NO. 18+ REGARDLESS OF PARENTAL CONSENT.
Can I swim after getting my tattoo?
no.
no lakes, pools, oceans, creeks, rivers, waterparks, ect.
absolutely no swimming after being tattooed for at least 1 month.
DO I need a Touch-up?
if you have an area or multiple areas of your tattoo you’d like to touch up, that’s totally fine. Sometimes tattoos just need another pass and it’s inevitable. Text a photo of the area you’d like to get touched up and we can discuss a possible touch-up session. First touch up session is on me. (Within 6 months of your tattoo). Typically, if a tattoo even needs a touch up, one more pass is all you need. touch-ups are not always necessary.
if you go swimming, visit public gyms, or do anything against aftercare instructions to interfere with your tattoo while it’s healing, You will be charged my minimum for a touch-up. taking proper care of a tattoo is crucial to it healing properly.
can i see a drawing before our appointment?
unfortunately, no. I understand you may feel anxious, however, It is for my own designs protection. If you arrive to your appointment an you dislike/ want to change the design, we can always reschedule worst case scenario.
